We have got a message from he organizer of the charity concert:

“Sorry to inform you that this event has been cancelled. The contract with Alexander was signed and everything was in order, but unfortunately the biggest sponsor had to withdraw the support. Postponment was an option for Alexander, but the organizer didn’t see any possible new sponsor in the nearest future, so they decided to cancel instead.

As a replacement another organizer was contacted for a regular concert, and he was interested. But after a while he had to say no too, unfortunately. So by now the trip to Texas is a bit out in the blue. Sorry for this. “

Nannestad: The Nannestad School of Culture is celebrating it’s 45 year anniversary by going to the United States with Alexander Rybak next summer. For this trip the students need some money. Therefore, the FAU (parents council working committee) at the culture school have arranged a flea market in Storhallen in Nannestad Councilhouse on Saturday and Sunday,- says Ellinor Lauritsen, principal of the culture school. Anyone who has any fleas to spare, please contact us.

The American girls didn`t mind at all that Alexander Rybak gave a surprise intimate concert.
Alexander Rybak isn`t known for lazing about. Recently the popular artist held a surprise intimate concert in Jersey City, with a panoramic view over the Manhattan skyline.
The American audience were impressed by the multitalent, and the roof on the skyscraper was almost lifted off when he sang Fairytale and some of his most popular songs.
The concert was held on the 44th floor of the apartment hotel owned by the Norwegian Jarl Haugedal (37).
