“I’ve decided to meet y’all and say hello and give you a hug” – Alexander Rybak
On 10th August 2017, Alexander delighted his European fans by the sudden announcement he would be arranging three meet and greets in the next week since he was having business meetings and studio sessions in Europe.
The first one was in Turkey on 13th August where he made the bold promise:
“I will be hugging each and every one who comes tomorrow to the beautiful roof of Mr.Cas Hotel on Istiklal Street, Istanbul at 8pm”. – Alexander Rybak
The event was well attended and judging by the reactions and photos posted on Instagram I think he actually managed to keep that promise.

Alexander finally visited beautiful Istanbul to play a full concert there! On September 17th he and the dancers from Lithuanian dance group “Time to show” performed at the night club “Jolly Joker”. Earlier that day Alexander met his fans at the open “Meet and Greet”.

The Third International Milas Festival has come to an end.
2009 Eurovision Song Contest winner, Alexander Rybak, caused a stampede at the closing concert of the Third International Milas Festival held in the Milas district of Muğla.
The Third International Milas Festival came to an end on Saturday, with the concerts of Mabel Matiz and Norwegian Alexander Rybak, who is the winner of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. Mabel Matiz got on the stage on the last day of the Festival. Almost 5.000 people were gathered around the concert hall, and had a good time with the songs of Mabel Matiz. After Mabel Matiz, Stone Men from Milas (Milaslı Kaya Adamlar) who are famous for the TV program “Yetenek Sizsiniz” had their performances.
2009 Eurovision Song Contest winner, Alexander Rybak, who took the stage last, caused a stampede. Alexander had a hard time coming down from the stage, because of the intense interest of fans. He was acclaimed for his performance and stage shows. At the end of the night the Mayor of Milas, Muhammet Tokat, gave plaques and presents to the performers.

Winner of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, Norwegian violinist Alexander Rybak, visited Alanya last month for a charity concert for the benefit of families of deceased soldiers. At his hotel at Cleopatra beach Hello Alanya Magazine spoke with the ambitious, energetic artist about his music, his travels, his plans and of course about Alanya. “At the moment I have many plans I want to realize and I love to travel. But if I am ever going to settle down, Alanya certainly is a good option.”

Alexander Rybak supports Belarus at Eurovision
The winner of “Eurovision” of 2009 – 26-year-old Norwegian singer Alexander Rybak said that this year he will actively support the country he was born in – Belarus. Especially for this occasion the singer-violinist, who became famous in Europe with his super-hit Fairytale, co-starred in the music video of singer Alyona Lanskaya, who this year will perform at “Eurovision” representing Belarus.
A new gourmet restuarant opened in Alanya. Norway ambassador Cecilie Landsverk, honorary consul Nüvit Özkan and Eurovison 2009 winner Alexander Rybak, who was in Alanya to give a concert for Norway’s national celebration, were at the opening.
Winner of 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, Alexander Rybak, drank Raki in Alanya for the first time and he said he liked it.
Belarussian and norwegian artist Alexander Rybak who won the 2009 Eurovision song contest with his song Fairytale in Russia, came to Alanya to give a concert at the celebration of the Norwegian National day. He had dinner at Natalie Restuarant in Oba with his manager. Norwegian customers showed so much interst to him. They took pictres with Rybak and signed the concert posters. Rybak and manager of Natalie Restuarant, Vali Arslan alias ‘Pilot’ drank Raki at dinner. Rybak mentioned that it’s the first time he tast it – ” it’s a drink with a little bit strong tasted, but I like it very much”.
