We have got a message from he organizer of the charity concert:
“Sorry to inform you that this event has been cancelled. The contract with Alexander was signed and everything was in order, but unfortunately the biggest sponsor had to withdraw the support. Postponment was an option for Alexander, but the organizer didn’t see any possible new sponsor in the nearest future, so they decided to cancel instead.
As a replacement another organizer was contacted for a regular concert, and he was interested. But after a while he had to say no too, unfortunately. So by now the trip to Texas is a bit out in the blue. Sorry for this. “
THE CONCERT IN NASHVILLE HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO FALL.
On January 25th, 2015 Alexander is participating in The House That Music Built, a benefit concert to support Habitat For Humanity of Greater Nashville. He will be appearing alongside a choir of over 250 people, a full orchestra, and local and international artists. Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the belief that every person should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live.
It’s always a pleasure to have him stateside (pictured above with Solveig Leithaug during their concert in Nashville last year), and this is a great opportunity to experience a varied evening of musical stylings and support a worthy cause. Tickets can be purchased here.

FIERY. Alexander delivered fiery and well, and pulled the young string players enthusiastically with him.
Frenetic strings and wild virtuous Goblin dance.
Twice they filled up the Bjarntesaula. Alexander Rybak and 140 young strings. A Fairytale.
– It was an incredible amount of people. This is almost the test of whether we need a cultural house or not, I thought beforehand. Rybak is coming, are the people from Nittedal interested? And they were,- said Torbjørn Olsen, the leader of the workgroup “Rybak”.

“You could have got me to the altar now”
– I am not easily touched,- Alexander Rybak said in “Hver Gang Vi Møtes”. But the best interpretation of the night touched everyone.
– This song was written during a time when I still trusted blindly in people,- Alexander Rybak said in tonight’s “Hver Gang Vi Møtes”. And it was Sigvart Dagsland who touched and surprised the most when he in tonight’s program had rewritten the ballad “13 Horses” in Norwegian.

Alexander has a sea of female fans, but he meets his girl 2-3 times a year.
The winner of “Eurovision-2009” 25-year-old Alexander Rybak has his beloved one, but he meets her extremely rare. And it is not even because of the singer’s busy tour schedule, but due to the fact that his girlfriend is constantly on the go.
