” Funny little Prague ” – A report of the meeting in Prague (Feb. 2010) by the FaceBookie Marion K.

When I met Alexander in Berlin in December (2009) I really couldn’t imagine that I would meet him again so soon. We spoke to him about having a concert in Prague but I never thought that this would really happen but then the concert was announced a couple of weeks ago and for me it was sure that I had to be there NO MATTER WHAT! Report On The Concert And The FaceBookies’ Meeting In Prague, Febr. 24th-27th 2010 (by Julia B.)

PRAGUE WAS IMPRESSED BY NORWEGIAN WINNER OF EUROVISION. THE AUDIENCE WAS MOSTLY FROM RUSSIA AND NORWAY

(Translated and commentary by Jitka, English revision by AnniJo)

[What is nonsense is there were fans from all over Europe and a lot of Czechs too, considering the short time for promotion here. Actually not so many Russians because of lack of time to get a visa and not so many Norwegians, who have enough concerts in Norway, not so big need to travel to Prague…the main language was English, even from the stage…Why should Alex speak English, if there would be only Russians and Norwegians? No!! He was speaking English, because his audience was international! – ed. Jitka] Continue reading Czech newspaper about Prague concert February 25th 2010

Concert in Prague Feb. 25th 2010. Almost 1000 tickets are sold!

(rybakomic by Dr. Renia)

The concert in Prague was expected to be a small concert, since the Lucerna Music Bar have room for ca. 400 people. Our reliable Czech FaceBookies have just reported that all tickets were sold. The demand for concert tickets has been so huge, that the music bar has expanded the room, by opening the balconies and now, almost 1000 tickets are sold. This is very good news for Alexander Rybak and his crew. It is also good news for the Czech fans, ’cause it shows, without doubt, that Rybak has an audience in Czech Republic.

A big part of the credit for this sucess should go to the fans on Alexander Rybak’s Facebook Page, who worked hard together to promote this concert by contacting czech radio-stations, TV-stations and other media and persuade them to play Rybaks music and announce the concert! Especially one radio DJ should be mentioned: Monika on Radio Fajn North Music who was so kind to play ” Fairytale” and to announce the concert EVERY second evening for 2 weeks.(author Marianne)

2)Really!! I have read about it at www.alexanderrybak.cz. It´s gonna take place on the 25th of February in Lucerna Music Bar in Prague. It´s told, that they already sold 1000 tickets.
3) If there were no Facebookies, nobody would know about him in Bohemia.”)
