IT CAN’T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS
Whatever happens, Alexander has already won.
Whether Alexander Rybak wins Eurovision or not, he has already won the hearts of all on behalf of himself, Norway and all those who stand out in the crowd.
He had already jumped through the screen in Kjempesjansen with his own song “Foolin'”. And made viewers gasp for breath, thinking: Wow, what is this?It is incredibly rare to experience a top-trained classical musician with such a natural and heartfelt ability to communicate. He was not an old fellow when he closed his ears to the skeptics’ attempts to get him to limit himself to a career as a classical violinist. He wanted to perform the music as he felt it, both his own and others. Because when Alexander Rybak plays Rolf Løvland’s “Secret Garden”, It’s hard to remember to breathe. I became “Harry” (not trendy) overnight.
But Rybak believes it is 98 percent certain that he will go on to the Eurovision final.
MOSCOW (Dagbladet): On Thursday Alexander Rybak has to convince both the TV audience and the professional jury that he belongs in the final on Saturday.
With a dose of Drillo Mathematics, and the knowledge that many people at home plan to follow Saturday’s finale on big screen in assembly halls and pubs, Rybak now estimates that it is 98 percent certain that he advances further from Thursday’s semifinal.

“New Year’s Tales” of Alexander Rybak.
After having performed with the unforgettable song “Fairytale” at “Eurovision-2009”, Alexander Rybak has won not only the competition but also the winning ticket to his bright creative future.
Since then the creativity of this guy – no matter what he did – resonates with the audience.
That happened also with the last album of the 26 year-singer, which consists entirely of traditional Christmas and New Year’s songs. The hits of Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, “Let it Snow” and “Rudolph The Red-nosed Reindeer” – all this acquires the new tone thanks to the fine taste of Rybak who once again put emphasis on violin and keyboards. Regarding sound, the album is maximally close to the music of the Christmas Masterpieces of Disney’s studios and the main highlight is the violin of course, because of that Rybak became famous in 2009. Since then the artist has recorded several songs in Russian, two albums in English and the one in Norwegian (*actually in Swedish – comment of facebookies.org).
After having realized the demand in the western market, the musician decided to return to the English language in which all 12 tracks are performed. Listening to him you are realizing that the singer obviously prefers to go down the “for a long time, already beaten path”, however he only benefits from this – the new album of Rybak is nice to listen to from the beginning to the end. Unfortunately there will be no concerts in Moscow as a part of the tour to support the album – the musician decided not to go beyond several halls in his native Norway.
Alexander gave very long and interesting interview to the Russian publishing house “Komsomolskaya Pravda” during his visit to Moscow, Russia 6-9 November 2012, that was published on 13.11.2012. In this interview he told about many subjects: his new video and stalker girl, his attitude to Russia, his audience, his ex-girlfriend, his dreams, his musical idols, his traditions, his favorite sports and many others. He also played a lot of music live.
