The winner of Eurovision 2009, “sunny boy”, as he is referred to as by journalists and fans, violinist Alexander Rybak had come to Moscow to present his song with the self-explanatory title: «Dostala» («Driven me up the wall»). For almost three years now, a strange female fan has compulsively pursued Sasha, and he is so sick of her at this point that the musician decided to take action and teach her a lesson by making her the heroine of his music video. After his presentation, Rybak gave a frank interview to “Yellow Newspaper.”

Heaven forbid our beloved artists from things like that! Norwegian singer Alexander Rybak (26), who won Eurovision 4 years ago, has been struggling for some while with a stalker, who is following him to different parts of world and terrorizing him with phone calls. The young man put this experience into his new song “Leave Me Alone“.
“That kind of harassment one can only usually see in movies“, Rybak tells the magazine “Kroonika“. It’s a true story about a woman, who has travelled half the world by following me and stalking me at the hotel doors and other places, where I stay. Altogether I have received 600 e-mails from her and some how she managed to spy out my secret phone number.“
The woman from Israel still calls Rybak these days, but the young man hopes, that now after he has poured his emotions into the song, the insane woman understands where to draw a line.
Besides, on January 19th Alexander can be seen performing in the nightclub “Teater“, to where the magazine “Kroonika“ will draw lots on his Facebook page – tickets for 4 people and exclusive meeting with Rybak!

The delusional fan from Israel has been stalking Alexander Rybak for a few years. The musician answered her insinuations with a video, in which he appears in a straight jacket, showing to the woman that she sent the boy to the mental hospital.
Alexander asks the fan “don’t call me anymore” in the chorus of the song. And, by the irony of fate, the lady called him exactly during the presentation of the video

The whole world learnt about Alexander Rybak after his victory on ESC. The smiling Norwegian conquered the audience not only with his charisma but also with his talent as a composer. The song which was acknowledged as the best one almost unanimously by European countries in the international contest, was personally written by the performer. Beautiful Yana Obodets was among the 400 who wanted the role. The beautiful girl was Alexander’s obvious first choice.
Charmer Alexander is one of Norway’s most coveted bachelors. Ukrainian press speculate about him falling for sweet Yana.
I became infatuated by her
The Grand Prix-winner reveals the truth about his relationship with his beautiful opponent.
Alexander Rybak (26) is having a great success with his newest song “Leave Me Alone”, which is inspired by an Israeli lady, who has been stalking him for several years.
But the story also has its bright side. When Alexander was about to record a music video to the song in Ukraine, he arranged a huge audition for the role as his opponent in the video.
-Even if I don’t imagine the most beautiful picture of the woman who is stalking me, I still wanted to show her in the fairest possible way in the video. Among the 400 models I fell for Yana Obodets (21) from Donetsk, says Alexander.
Hot
At the filming location there seemed to have grown hot feelings between them and the Ukrainian press speculates if he and Yana have become a couple.
-I don’t plan to get a girlfriend who lives that far away. Still I was infatuated by her. When the filming got close to be lasting 24 hours in a row, it was the flirting that kept us going!
To Norway
-We are just friends, but I look forward to having her as a guest in Norway, Alexander admits.
The artist has been a single since July, after the break-up with his girlfriend Maria Slyngstad (26).
Alexander was a guest at the popular Ukrainian morning show “Breakfast with 1+1”, where he answered questions from viewers and told about his new song “Leave me alone” and they showed bits from his new music video for that song. Also there was an exlusive premiere of Alexander’s song “Dostala” (Russian version of “Leave me alone”), which he performed live at the TV studio together with dancers from ballet “Deja vu”.

For nearly three years, Alexander Rybak has been pursued by a female fan. The result is Rybak’s new single, “Leave Me Alone” in which the 26-year-old poses in straitjacket in the video.
“I refuse to let a woman make me crazy, but I like to play with the idea of it. I will certainly not want to have fun on the expense of those who are sick. That’s important for me to say clearly. But there is a symbolism that one can get crazy of it. She has ruined a lot for me”,- Rybak told VG.
