Fy fela (Fiddle), what a Party!
Nannestad: During the festival days this weekend, there was a record number of participants and thousands of visitors, which caused the mobile network to periodically collapse .
Saturday there was heavy rain at the festival area, but festival leader, Espen Brekke, was still very happy.
– “The event has never been as big as this year with so many sales stands and participants. There were a lot of visitors on Friday, and today is good too, despite the rain. We hope for the sun to shine again in the evening when Alexander Rybak and Kathrine Moholt take to the stage”.
Celebrated finishing the exam
Saturday evening brought nice weather and good mood back in front of the main stage at the festival area, where Rybak and Kathrine Moholt invited people to “Sing-along without borders”.
– “It is so nice to be back here in Nannestad, and I feel a bit like being on homeground”, Rybak said, who also took the opportunity to let himself loose and celebrate his recent exam sucess.
– “I got an A, so now I can just celebrate and relax. Therefore it has been a pleasure to be here today and to be able to play without the exam nerves that I had earlier this week”, Rybak said backstage.
Earlier that day, he had also arranged a seminar, where a large group of happy kids and youngsters were rehearsing songs, which they performed together with Rybak at the stage show Saturday evening.
– “Now I just have to remember the lyrics”, he said just before going on stage.
