Alexander Rybak is in an active searching process. No, the winner of “Eurovision-2009” has no plans to look for his ladylove. This time, all thoughts of the 28-year-old musician are dedicated entirely to his new projects: the other day, he announced the all-Belarusian casting for a new girl band. Newfound Norwegian Meladze (a famous Ukrainian composer and producer) and his team will personally tour around cities and villages to find the most beautiful and strong-voiced Belarusian girls. In addition to Rybak’s patronage, these girls are promised one more substantial stake: this spring, the new girl band will go to Vienna to conquer the sixtieth anniversary of the “Eurovision Song Contest 2015”.

Alexander Rybak has mastered the PlayStation of metallurgists.
Alexander Rybak has mastered the PlayStation of white metallurgists and found where the iPad is sharpened. Recently the winner of “Eurovision” visited the educational centre of CTRP (Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant), where he had a tour and even got to sit at a student desk. However the musician and singer still doesn’t wish to learn the profession of metallurgist while noting: “But I’m glad they (metallurgists) exist.” And the educational centre, Alexander Rybak compared it to “Jurassic Park”, “I see that many doors are closed to us, it is exactly like in Jurassic Park. If suddenly the electricity stops working here, then suddenly all the doors will open and all the students will run to us. “
Alexander appeared to be down-to-earth and fun to chat with – the guest star acquainted with the students with ease, generously giving out hugs, autographs and made pictures with those who were willing. However, the idol asked tough questions – such as whether the students wash their white metallurgists uniform themselves. We had a guest on our balcony – the winner of “Eurovision”, Alexander Rybak.
We were visited today by Alexander Rybak, the winner of “Eurovision – 2009”. Sasha is not a rare visitor in the capital of Ukraine, but we met for the first time. Vgorode took the opportunity to ask some questions. In particular we asked about Alexander’s favourite places in Kiev and about Maidan. The musician told us that he loves Kiev for the fact that, despite its status of metropolis, it is still a colourful and green city, it is not dusty like many other cities.

Alexander Rybak was never in any doubt about where he was going to shoot his new music video.

When Alexander Rybak was going to shoot his biggest music video so far for the single “Into A Fantasy”, he was never in any doubt about where. Namely at Vestkapp at Stad in Selje municipality.
– Everytime I am in this natural environment, I come up with something new and write new music,- says Rybak.
For example the Eurovision hit “Fairytale” was made when he visited Ålesund, and the song he won the “Kjempesjansen” with, was also written only a stones throw from Vestkapp.
– It’s a 100 percent beautiful nature here, with changing weather, soft beaches, deep valleys and exposed mountain tops. It’s something that awakens the versatility in me, says Rybak enthusiastically.
At the harsh Stadplatået there is for once no wind. The sky is blue and it is a clear view to Svinøy Lighthouse and south to Bremanger.

We celebrate by looking back on some golden moments from 2009, which were never published here before 🙂

IT CAN’T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS
Whatever happens, Alexander has already won.
Whether Alexander Rybak wins Eurovision or not, he has already won the hearts of all on behalf of himself, Norway and all those who stand out in the crowd.
He had already jumped through the screen in Kjempesjansen with his own song “Foolin'”. And made viewers gasp for breath, thinking: Wow, what is this?It is incredibly rare to experience a top-trained classical musician with such a natural and heartfelt ability to communicate. He was not an old fellow when he closed his ears to the skeptics’ attempts to get him to limit himself to a career as a classical violinist. He wanted to perform the music as he felt it, both his own and others. Because when Alexander Rybak plays Rolf Løvland’s “Secret Garden”, It’s hard to remember to breathe.
