“This is very exciting. Ever since I performed with Scooter in Telenor Arena, I’ve dreamed of finding another artist who understands the importance of partying and the magic of The Fiddle. Katastrofe is one such artist, and I love to be a part of this song!!!!” Alexander Rybak (6.12.2015)

The girls were first one on stage, but after the first song Alexander appeared. The applause had hardly died down before Rybak began to play on the violin a melody familiar to his fans. The audience was especially pleased how the sound of the violin was mixed with the elements of rock and roll. The whole performance was accompanied by a dance group and the pianist Mikhail Orgesh.

We have got a message from he organizer of the charity concert:
“Sorry to inform you that this event has been cancelled. The contract with Alexander was signed and everything was in order, but unfortunately the biggest sponsor had to withdraw the support. Postponment was an option for Alexander, but the organizer didn’t see any possible new sponsor in the nearest future, so they decided to cancel instead.
As a replacement another organizer was contacted for a regular concert, and he was interested. But after a while he had to say no too, unfortunately. So by now the trip to Texas is a bit out in the blue. Sorry for this. “

Short Alexander’s interview about the girls who could conquer his heart in the Ukrainian magazine “Otdokhni” (“Get Some Rest”).
No available translations found
Translation by Sonya L. Revision by Anni J.
I like all kinds of girls: tall ones, short ones, girls from Ukraine, China and the Netherlands, Norway and Belarus… Everyone has a chance, but I feel that the Slavic roots are much closer to me. I like girls in dresses and without bright makeup. I like natural beauty and femininity. I like different kinds of girls. The most important thing is sincerity! I believe that any relationship should not begin when people fall in love, but when they become friends. That way it’s much easier to continue and keep in touch. Ukrainian girls are smart and they have a good education. It’s easy to communicate and make friends with them. After meeting one of them, I would like to invite her to the cinema, to chat with her… As a result of friendship, you may get a wife. My first love was a violinist, and the last one was a doctor.
If a girl is working, she often does not cook and devotes little time to the household. But I don’t think that I would be interested in a loafer. Ukrainian girls manage everything and everywhere. And it’s great! They are successful in their careers, but at the same time, they can treat their men with something tasty, and, you know, it’s also a good way to a man’s heart!
This singer has impersonated so many characters on the stage of “One to One”: Elvis Presley, Enrique Iglesias, Dima Bilan, Shura, Eduard Khil and even Gloria Gaynor. Alexander Rybak still has quite a few impersonations left to do before the final, and in the meantime, he shared with our correspondent what he’s already managed to accomplish.

– What does your participation in the project “One to One” do for you?
– I agreed to do this contest because I have a lot of Russian fans. I wanted to make them happy. In addition, thanks to the show, I discovered new Russian artists for myself-for example, Vladimir Markin. After Mark Tishman sang “Ya gotov tselovat’ pesok” (“I’m ready to kiss the sand”), I’ve been listening to this song every morning. In general, the team that is working on the project is very good. It combines the Russian and European styles of working, so I feel right at home. And of course, the teachers diligently work with us and they have to endure many things. After all, we are not used to learning to sing again. It’s a valuable experience for me, because I don’t want to relax and just enjoy what I have already achieved. Even though my victories have helped me, I feel that future projects are more important than the past ones. For example, I’m currently writing a book – it’s a tale in Norwegian about a troll .
“Komsomolka” found out if Rybak is planning on moving to Moscow, taking our Gribaleva and Nemo with him.
At 30 years of age, producer Andrei Guzel has managed to build an entire empire that employs Alexander Rybak, Larisa Gribaleva and Sasha Nemo. He helped Rybak develop the group Milki and is still working with the girls. Guzel and Rybak, who is one of his main clients, have disappeared to Moscow for the last several months. Maybe they’re planning on moving there with the entire team?
