Christmas mood a la Larsen
Early Friday night the Christmas concert “Stille Natt Hellige Natt” was back at the Immanuel church in Halden. There, an unusually packed church waited for Rune Larsen & Co.
Some will say that Larsen is perfecting his team when he takes to the road with his Christmas ensemble, consisting of Tor Endresen, Elisabeth Bettan Andreassen, Marian Aas Hansen and Alexander Rybak. The last one of course still equipped with his well acclaimed violin.

An evening for emotions
– Christmas has been called a magnifying glass. The joy gets bigger but so does the sorrow, said Rune Larsen when he created the Christmas mood for a sold out Trinity Church.

Humorous Christmas medley a capella in an intense tempo, solo performances and beautiful singing. And Rudolf`s nose is still red. It`s easy to see that the bunch is having a great time.
Tranquil and beautiful night at Herøy church.
The Christmas concert “Silent Night Holy Night” with the Norwegian top artists Elisabeth Andreassen, Marian Aas Hansen, Tor Endresen, Rune Larsen and recently also improved with Alexander Rybak, also gathered a sold out church in Herøy and created a nice Christmas mood for a stressed out pre-Christmas mind.
A peaceful Christmas concert with great musical range.

The frozen wind swept souls that blew into the cathedral on Wednesday night found a quiet moment to laugh at life’s storms.
Molde, Norway: Rune Larsen, Elisabeth Andreassen, Marian Aas Hansen, Tor Endresen and Alexander Rybak performed both together and individually a solid pre-Christmas program, packed with well-known and beloved Christmas carols and spiced up with more unknown material. The approximate 500 attendees in the cathedral on this windswept pre-Christmas night would hardly regret this visit.
Alexander Rybak shone onstage at Brygga Kultursal in Halden on Thursday night. He wanted to be a part of the 45th anniversary of Halden Municipal Culture School. When it began in 1968 the name was Halden Music School. In the background we catch a glimpse of the versatile performances in front of a very satisfied audience. Sold out opening for Rybak`s family show
The two 10 year old girls, Malin Kvinge Aalen from Sogndal and Vilde Wendel Nyberg from Alfaz del Pi, participated in the dance during a furious stage show last night. They’ll remember this for a long time.
– We’ve been practicing the folk dance we performed for three weeks,- Vilde Wendel Nyberg proudly says to Spaniaavisen after the concert. Along with her friend Malin Kvinge Aalen, she’s a member of the dance group “Dans Favor” which focuses on Norwegian folk dance. Both children and adults are in the group, which has regular rehearsals at “Alfaz del Sol” in Alfaz del Pi. The girls closed the Rybak concert with acrobatics while wearing national costumes on stage. So it was probably helpful that they both taken gymnastics before.

Got to join the band: Alexander Rybak called his performance at Rådhusteatret on Sunday his audition to “join the band”, in other words the marching bands from Nordby, Ski and Drøbak/Frogn. He passed it with flying colours.
Alexander Rybak bestowed glory to the marching band society in Follo.
Well done from Nordby, Ski and Drøbak/Frogn. The celebrity concert has been a tradition for a long time and the 2013 edition will go down in history as one of the very best. The members of the school marching bands from Nordby, Ski and Drøbak/Frogn can pat themselves on the back after a well-executed event at Rådhusteatret during the weekend. Rybak sees a talent from afar
Sensational in every sense, the TV project of the STV channel “Singing cities” is getting ready to interest and firmly glue many viewers to the screen in its second season. Straight away the show brought the statue in the entertainment category of contest ” Tele-top-2013″ to its creators. And what a noise the participants have made! I mean, they sang a lot of songs, and the quantity of the the songs were even more during the qualifying stages. And this year we can do nothing without casting too. Before the show will go to the second round , you need to find the most talented contestants. Last week, the selection finally took place in Minsk , and correspondents of ” SB” did not miss a chance to look into the Youth Estrade Theatre. Looking forward to it: The musicians of the Nordby, Ski and Drøbak/Frogn school marching bands are looking forward to the celebrity concert at Rådhusteatret in Ski. Here are both marching bands, drill and juniors are gathered at the joint rehearsal at Nordby school on Monday night.
There’s going to be a sold out house at Rådhusteatret on Sunday afternoon, and a 100 young musicians will have a memory for life. At 4 pm things will go off with a bang for the members of Nordby, Ski and Drøbak/Frogn school marching bands. This is the fifth year we will have a celebrity concert. It started with our 50 year anniversary in 2009. Back then Rein Alexander joined us. We felt it worked out so well that we wanted to have more people join us. Ski and Drøbak/Frogn joined us after.
Alexander Rybak and Prima Music School gave the audience “value for the money”.
The seminars on Friday and Saturday were all topped off with a concert in a packed Ytteren church Sunday night . It was so fully packed that some had to stand or sit on the floor. The concert was well set up with a mix of solo performances by Rybak, performances by Prima Music School only and performances by the music school and Rybak together.
With great pleasure we’d like to inform you that Alexander will again compete in Swedish popular music-quest show “Så ska det låta” (Name That Tune). We all loved watching the show in 2010, when Alexander competed with Maria Haukaas and in 2012 with Elizabeth Andreassen. This time he will be in a team with Swedish singer Pernilla Wahlgren, and their competitors are the girls from Swedish bluegrass and country musical group “Abalone Dots” . The recording of programme was made in Stockholm on October 21st, and Pernilla has described it in her blog (thanks Pernilla!) The new season will be aired on Swedish TV-channel SVT in early spring 2014.

Alexander Rybak: “I am delighted to have been invited to judge Belarusians in a positive way”
It’s cramped and noisy behind the scenes of the Youth Variety Theatre: the crew of the channel “STV” finishes setting up the lighting and adjusts the decorations – in just a few minutes the casting of the second season of the project “Singing cities. The second season.” will start in the hall. While dozens of contestants are nervous in the hall, the main star of the day – a famous European artist – and along with it, our countryman, Alexander Rybak, prepares himself behind the scenes. The young man came to the Belarusian capital only with his manager and literally for only one day – to take part in the project. There is no place to turn around in a very small dressing room, but the guy doesn’t get upset, he quickly brushes up, checks his violin and goes to more spacious hall.

Yesterday, September 11th, for the finale of the Christopher Summer Festival concert, appeared Norwegian violinist Alexander Rybak (27). He enjoyed not only our audience, but also the country’s designers. At the concert in the Vilnius Picture Gallery courtyard, Alexander Rybak was wearing a vest created by designer Egidijus Sidaras of the fashion house “Cantas”.
The Violin performer confessed to the producers that it is the first case when his favorite part of an outfit – the vest – was created specifically for him by a designer, but after trying on the new vest he also ordered another one.

The European charmer Alexander Rybak shies away from the world of entertainment: to become a hostage to money – it is awful.
The winner of Eurovision 2009, Alexander Rybak, has no chance to relax from the marathon of television shows and pop concerts following his success. During recent years he has had more than 100 performances per year! But at the Christopher Summer Festival the guy will reveal his lesser-known talents…
“First and foremost I am a composer, then a violinist and a pop singer”,- the Eurovision star who lives in Norway has said repeatedly. Alexander Rybak’s upcoming concert in Vilnius will make sure of that, because the guest promises to perform violin classics and his own compositions with the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of Professor Donato Katkaus.
