Alexander Rybak presented three premieres in the center of Kiev!

Ahead of “Halloween” the winner of “Eurovision” and one of the most charming artists of CIS and Europe -Alexander Rybak invited all his friends into the “madhouse” in the city center of Kiev! It’s the club-restaurant “Tolstoy” that has became such a place for one day. At the door of the club the guests were welcomed by crazy men in straightjackets, and inside they have been waiting on a show by the experimenter, Alexander Rybak. The artist presented three premieres at once – the new single, the video, and the new Russian program!

The topics of the evening were preceded by the video shoot for Alexander Rybak’s song “Dostala” (“You’ve driven me up the wall”). In the plot of the video the singer flees to an insane asylum, away from his obsessive female fan, who annoys him by her calls and just pursues him everywhere! And then he manages to leave his maniacal fan in the madhouse, but he leaves it himself for a normal life. The video was filmed with inspiration from real events in the life of the artist! Se&Hør Article, Alexander Rybak: I became infatuated by her – 26.10.2012

Article from paper edition of Se&Hør, 26.10.2012.

Beautiful Yana Obodets was among the 400 who wanted the role. The beautiful girl was Alexander’s obvious first choice.
Charmer Alexander is one of Norway’s most coveted bachelors. Ukrainian press speculate about him falling for sweet Yana.

I became infatuated by her

The Grand Prix-winner reveals the truth about his relationship with his beautiful opponent.

Alexander Rybak (26) is having a great success with his newest song “Leave Me Alone”, which is inspired by an Israeli lady, who has been stalking him for several years.

But the story also has its bright side. When Alexander was about to record a music video to the song in Ukraine, he arranged a huge audition for the role as his opponent in the video.

-Even if I don’t imagine the most beautiful picture of the woman who is stalking me, I still wanted to show her in the fairest possible way in the video. Among the 400 models I fell for Yana Obodets (21) from Donetsk, says Alexander.

Hot

At the filming location there seemed to have grown hot feelings between them and the Ukrainian press speculates if he and Yana have become a couple.

-I don’t plan to get a girlfriend who lives that far away. Still I was infatuated by her. When the filming got close to be lasting 24 hours in a row, it was the flirting that kept us going!

To Norway

-We are just friends, but I look forward to having her as a guest in Norway, Alexander admits.
The artist has been a single since July, after the break-up with his girlfriend Maria Slyngstad (26).

Found the tune with Alexander Rybak

Nesttun: More than 60 young strings were radiant on stage with Alexander Rybak when they met for a grand concert in the culture house Sunday evening.

– “You are very clever, I have grown very fond of you.”
Alexander Rybak praised the youth and children from Nesttun young strings and Askøy young strings from the stage where he was playing a concert with them in the Fana culture house Sunday evening,

– “You have been very nice to spend time with, you have great musicality and dare to experiment fully with every musical genre. And you give a hundred percent” he said further.

Good contact. Rybak payed great attention to the young strings and followed them closely. Here the Eurovision song Fairytale is performed with the youngest strings in front.

String Cooperation

The concert is the biggest that the Nesttun strings have ever done.
There are about 40 musicians in Nesttun young strings, and that is a bit too few for a project like this. That’s why we cooperated with Askøy, so we had a bigger orchestra. Now we are 60+ on stage, says board member Øyvind Hermansen.

Cellist Maria Rogde (13) from Nesttun SAYS it has been very fun and inspiring to play with the strings from Askøy. And not least, she thinks it has been fun to have Alexander Rybak as conductor this weekend.

– He is incredibly clever and funny. We have been practicing for hours together, so it has been a bit exhausting too. But to get to play a concert with him is very fun, she says Alexander Rybak thinks the cooperation with the young strings from Nesttun and Askøy has gone very smoothly.

See Alexander in a straitjacket.

For nearly three years, Alexander Rybak has been pursued by a female fan. The result is Rybak’s new single, “Leave Me Alone” in which the 26-year-old poses in straitjacket in the video.

“I refuse to let a woman make me crazy, but I like to play with the idea of it. I will certainly not want to have fun on the expense of those who are sick. That’s important for me to say clearly. But there is a symbolism that one can get crazy of it. She has ruined a lot for me”,- Rybak told VG.

Initially, Alexander Rybak was somewhat of a nobody having taken part in the Melodi Grand Prix in 2009 for the very first time with the song Fairytale and emerging as the clear favourite very quickly after all of the songs had been previewed. He would of course go on to win with a huge margin before going to the Eurovision Song Contest held in Moscow, Russia where he would also ensure victory just ahead of Iceland who were represented with Is It True? performed by the stunning Yohanna. His victory was the beginning of a brand new era for the European competition noting that charting success was being guaranteed not only for the winner but for a number of performers who were now starting to be backed by the regional departments of major recording labels. Following the release of three successful albums; Alexander Rybak is planning yet another release sometime soon hence forth why he will be releasing a new single, most probably off this upcoming album which remains a mystery thus far.

Since winning Eurovision in 2009, you’d have thought Alexander Rybak had quite literally lived the fairytale. With fame however, comes attention, some of it most unwanted. Rybak’s newest single, out tomorrow, tells of the nightmare he has been experiencing lately with an obsessed fan trying to get too close.

Since his Eurovision victory, young charmer Alexander Rybak has remained in the spotlight through his participation in high profile shows, such as Let’s Dance in Sweden. His name has been linked to various women in the tabloid press with rumours of romance, most of which has been welcome attention. Lately however, Rybak has been tortured by an extremely obsessive female fan who has badgered the star day and night, making his life hell.

The girl in question travels around the world in an effort to get close to her idol, apparently even turning up on Rybak’s front doorstep! He has been swamped by over 600 e-mails from the amorous fan and has been forced to obtain an unlisted phone number, which, rather disturbingly, the troublesome fan manages to get hold of time and time again. The persistent girl still calls Rybak at least thirty times a day, and even more so at night, making it difficult for the star to get rest after a hard day’s work.Rybak has spoken openly about the ordeal through both his Facebook page and official website.

His newest single is aptly entitled Leave Me Alone and is scheduled for international release tomorrow, the 12th of October. The troubled singer states on his official fan page that he wonders even whether or not the girl in question will realise the song is about her. Hopefully she’ll get the rather unsubtle hint and give poor Rybak some breathing space!

The winner of “Eurovision” went to a mental hospital

The fact that the stars are besieged by fans is well-known. Sometimes fans’ love can be so obsessive that artists have to change their phone numbers, addresses, and even call the police. And fans love brought the popular singer, winner of “Eurovision 2009” Alexander Rybak to the mental hospital.

Fortunately, just for fun. Sasha just decided to explain to girls with a song and music video that shows fanaticism is not always good. A few days ago in Kiev the shooting of the video for the new Rybak’s single “Leave me Alone” («Ты достала меня”) took place. They shot at once two versions of the video – English and Russian ones. The fan-girl of the artist, who tries too zealously to prove her love to him, prompted him with an idea of the new video and the song. If there was one thing we learned when Alexander Rybak gave a concert together with our choir, it was that he liked what we did.

The idea was summer idyll, barbecue and singing in the archipelago (skjærgården), and that’s nearly how it was.
15 July, a little bit tired Alexander, came to Jomfruland with his violin hanging over his shoulder.

Attendance record at Rosegården

Rybak was back.

And the violin virtuoso made a new success for the attendance record at Rosegården.

The Eurovision Song Contest winner Alexander Rybak took the city theater by storm earlier this spring. Roughly half a year later he was back with a new triumphal in Karlshamn.

About 2-3 thousand spectators were present at the sing-along at Rosegårdenn – far more than “Lill-Babs” [famous Swedish singer] attendance record last year.

– Wow! Hey! Rybak said at first sight of the crowed.

Rybak arrived at his sister’s place on the outskirts of Vitebsk in the evening before the festival opening concert, with flowers! He bought roses and lilies for his niece Uliana and brought a CD with his songs for his half-sister Julia (she’s daughter of Sasha’s dad Igor Rybak from his first marriage). And he brought his violin, of course.

Chronicles of the “Slavic Bazaar”. Alexander Rybak invited Europe to Belarus.

The Norwegian with Belarusian roots Alexander Rybak has become the first guest of the project “Star hour” on the XXI International Festival “Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk”. However, some journalists used the allotted time for questions to switch the attention of Rybak on themselves.

Known for his sense of humour Alexander Rybak wins us over with his sincerity and innocent jokes, and the musician always communicates with the journalists very politely, and if teasing , then it is good-naturedly. The project “Star Hour” at the 21st International Art Festival “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk” has changed greatly. First of all journalists didn’t see a constant host Victor Tatarsky. This year Sergei Shustitsky and Alexei Ostudin will represent the stars by chain. By the way, as the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, a famous composer and TV host Sergei Shustitsky stated at the opening of the first meeting of the International Press-center, he is going to lead the program “Star Hour” being in the shadows, allowing the stars to communicate with journalists. Sergei does not like scandals, he is for a good will, moreover, the format of “Star Hour” will be strictly regulated because of TV recordings.

Meeting at the International Press-center with Alexander Rybak wasn’t planned, but it was a baptism of fire for the co-host Alexei Ostudin and a Norwegian with Belarusian soul Alexander Rybak has demonstrated a sincere desire to communicate with the press without fear of any questions. And they were tricky. For example:

– Sasha, do you want to become a father?

– No, I’m working hard not to become him!
