Alexander Rybak’s Belarusian group “Milki” will participate in the first round of the Belarusian national selection for “Eurovision-2015” on December 4 or 5. The audition can be watched online via the Internet.
Live broadcast of the national qualifying auditions of the International Song Contest “Eurovision-2015” will be organized for the first time this year on the official website of Belteleradiocompany www.tvr.by
The auditions will take place in the studio “600 meters” of Belteleradiocompany on December 4-5 with live sound and music (or) soundtracks recorded without any vocal limitations.
The auditions will begin at 12.00 (Belarusian time).
100 participants will be listened to. The jury will also listen to the records made by song authors.
The number of people willing to go to the “Eurovision” contest is the highest in 3 years. 83 performers wanted to represent Belarus at “Eurovision-2013”.
The jury: Alexander Tikhanovich (chairman of the jury) and Vasily Rainchik, Elena Treschinskaya, the head of the radio station “Radius FM”, Olga Ryzhikova, the host of TV channel “Belarus 1”, Evgeni Pakovich, the executive producer of TV channel “Belarus 1”, Andrey Kholodinsky, music editor of “Radio Rocks”, Marianna Drabovich, the head of Arts Department at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus
On December 5 the professional jury will announce the results of auditions and identify fifteen artists to participate in the final. The draw will take place in the media holding on December 7.
The National final will be held on December 26 in the format of a television concert on TV channel “Belarus 1”. The winner will become the official representative of the Republic of Belarus at the international song contest “Eurovision-2015” in Vienna (Austria).
The organization of the national qualifying round and preparation of the Belarusian party to the international song contest “Eurovision-2015” is performed by Belteleradiocompany as the only Belarusian member of the European Broadcasting Union.
