Alexander Rybak, Maria Haukaas Mittet, Hans Marius Hoff Mittet and Rune Larsen got the audience in Christmas mood with their beautiful vocals. There were around 400 in the audience in Fjell church this Thursday, at this year’s Christmas concert.[Not a valid template]
«Stille Natt Hellige Natt” (Silent Night Holy Night) has been a Christmas tradition since 1987, and for the past 16 years (some wrong facts here 🙂 ) the artists have traveled around southern Norway together with the musicians Tove Kragset and Olav Torget, and created the Christmas atmosphere in advent.
In Fjell Church, the atmosphere was on top, and when the concert ended with “Deilig er jorden” (Fairest Lord Jesus) and everyone in the church stood up and sang along.
-I’ve been to this concert eight times, but I’ve never experienced anything like that. This evening was magical, says Bjørg Martinussen, 64, from Eide.
Hans Marius Hoff Mittet performed at the church in Fjell for the first time, and he got an experience out of the ordinary.
-It was very special, the church is so incredibly beautiful and we received such a good response from the audience,” says a happy Mittet.
