We have got a message from he organizer of the charity concert:
“Sorry to inform you that this event has been cancelled. The contract with Alexander was signed and everything was in order, but unfortunately the biggest sponsor had to withdraw the support. Postponment was an option for Alexander, but the organizer didn’t see any possible new sponsor in the nearest future, so they decided to cancel instead.
As a replacement another organizer was contacted for a regular concert, and he was interested. But after a while he had to say no too, unfortunately. So by now the trip to Texas is a bit out in the blue. Sorry for this. “
THE CONCERT IN NASHVILLE HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO FALL.
On January 25th, 2015 Alexander is participating in The House That Music Built, a benefit concert to support Habitat For Humanity of Greater Nashville. He will be appearing alongside a choir of over 250 people, a full orchestra, and local and international artists. Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the belief that every person should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live.
It’s always a pleasure to have him stateside (pictured above with Solveig Leithaug during their concert in Nashville last year), and this is a great opportunity to experience a varied evening of musical stylings and support a worthy cause. Tickets can be purchased here.

Marija Šerifović posted a status on a social network a couple of minutes ago that she’s recording a duet with the Norwegian star and winner of Eurovision 2009, Alexander Rybak. Underneath the photo that she posted she says: “Officially, Alexander Rybak is the first guest on the album”. According to information we received later, this excellent musician wrote the music for the song on the upcoming album of this singer.
Exclusive: Marija Šerifović and Alexander Rybak recorded a duet.
The only Serbian winner of Eurovision, Marija Šerifović, posted a photo on Twitter a couple of minutes ago with the Norwegian star, Alexander Rybak, and wrote: “Officially, Alexander Rybak is the first guest on the album“. The pop star is working hard these days on a new project called “Ispovest“ (Confession), which should be released by the end of the year. Alexander, winner of Eurovision 2009, is participating in a remarkable collaboration with our singer and it’s not surprising that she chose him specifically for a duet.

There are no sour herring here. Christine Koht and Alexander Rybak didn’t even hesitate when Elisabeth Andreassen invited them to a real Swedish herring table.
The atmosphere is good when Bettan serves a delicious herring table. Christine Koht is a teetotaler and toasts with water, while Alexander Rybak is a gentleman, making sure that everyone is having a good time.
