“Eurovision was the peak of my career”, Alexander Rybak says.
The press conference started with showing the video clip of the Russian version of Europe’s Skies. “I really like the clip, it’s my first Russian clip,” Rybak said.
He was asked about the ability of Belarus organising also the Eurovision Song Contest and he replied with a positive note.
“It’s [Junior Eurovision Song Contest] the same kind of a competition as the Eurovision Song Contest, so I see no problem with organising that as well in Minsk,” the winner of the 2009 edition of Europe’ favourite TV-show said.
“I’ve said after the Eurovision Song Contest that this was the peak of my career as I don’t think I’ll ever perform to a bigger audience but it doesn’t mean the quality of my singing will be worse,” he explained when asked about his victory at Europe’s favourite TV-show.
