Covid-19 and how that effects events
Due to the Covid-19 situation Norway has got some restrictions for travelling abroad and national events. This means that per now it is not allowed to have events with more than 200 people in the audience with a meters distance.
From 15. July Norwegians can travel abroad to some countries within EØS/Schengen without getting a quarantine when arriving home. The list of countries will be updated at least every 2. week and can be found here.
Alexander is now a student at Columbia College Chicago, USA. Because of the Corona situation is studying online from his parent’s house at Nesodden, where he now lives. His only scheduled events by now is the Christmas tour which starts 25. November. Read more about that below 🙂
New event, a podcast interview, is coming up in the end of October.
25th November – The Christmas tour “Stille Natt Hellig Natt” premieres in Trondheim. 48 concerts in 22 churches from 25.11 till 22.12. More info about the tour you’ll find on Taran.no, and the tour list with dates and places you’ll find on Ticketmaster.no.
NB! There will only be 200 tickets available for each concert, so If you want to go to this concert, hurry book your ticket!
Some info about the Christmas concert published in VG 14.8.2020:
There might be some changes of concert places and limited tickets for sale.
Norway still have the restriction of max 200 people on an event.
Tor Arne Ranghus in Taran, says that despite the situation he will in one way or another carry out the three different Christmas tours his company organizes. One of the biggest challenges is the size of the churches they perform in. Some of them are small and down to 80-90 people, and he rather then have three concerts per day in the largest churches. There will be less concert places, he says. The calculated loss of income because of this for his company is more than 50 mill Norwegian kroner, and the situation also influence the financial agreements with the musicians.
