The Belarusian singer visited several places in the city of Buenos Aires

The talented violinist Alexander Rybak came to our country to appear on April 29th at the theatre “Coliseo”. In front of a feverish audience, the artist was able to impose his particular style and performed some songs of all genres: Pop, jazz, tango, classical and dance. A musical mixture that allowed the audience to realise why the young and prestigious artist has shone in every scenario he has stepped into in recent years. The singer with a renewed agenda remains in our country

Alex was born in Belarus, but currently lives in Norway. He won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2009 with the song “Fairytale” and that allowed him to conquer all of Europe in a short time. He was then summoned by the international animation company DreamWorks  to compose the main theme for the movie “How to Train your Dragon 2” and put his voice in the Norwegian version for the main character. The song turned out to be a hymn to friendship called “Into a Fantasy” and he conquered several European charts. He has also participated in the Russian version of “Your face looks familiar”, achieving to be a finalist and recently he has been voted best video of 2015 in that country with their new song “Kotik” with the shocking amount of 22,000,000 views on YouTube. Every year he grows in his career with a personal style and his loyal friend the violin.

Last Monday the versatile singer visited “The Clinic of the Violin” in the Constitution neighborhood, where he provided a small show with children studying music, and a small group of privileged fans. In the event he shared experiences of his rising career with the audience and played the acoustic version on violin of the song “Smooth Criminal” by Michael Jackson. The young artists also surprised the protagonist of the event with their own versions of some of his hits. Then also he made room in his schedule to visit the Garrahan Hospital and make more fans with the patients and hospital staff.

Finally he gave two pleasant surprises to the local audiences with the online replay of his concert at the Theatre Coliseo on the website of “Terra Argentina” and announced a new show in the province of Buenos Aires for Friday May 6 at 21hrs in the city of Junín, in the local space called “Teatro de la Rancheria”.
