Rybak to Vesterålen

Alexander Rybak will perform in Vesterålen in late September.

The Violin phenomenon will perform with the Lofoten and Vesterålen Orchestra Association in Øksneshallen at the very end of September. The project is part of the annual junior seminar the orchestra conducts every year.

Musicians from six years and up will have the opportunity to play with a complete symphony orchestra and Alexander himself. Rybak will conduct and lead the orchestra during his own songs, and there will also be some pleasant and recognizable highlights from a classical repertoire.

-“Who doesn’t remember the incredible evening when Alexander knocked-out all of Europe with “Fairytale”? Now you can experience him in full harmony with the region’s own symphony orchestra, reinforced, for this occasion, by many of the region’s young talents.” The tempting description from the concert organizers.

-“We, in the orchestra, are really looking forward to this, and it is incredibly fun to work with Alexander, and we hope many people from Vesterålen drop by,” they say to VOL.
