Alexander Rybak – Concert with children in Göteborg 06.04.204 – Report by Ebba Raab

Rybak1

All the pictures are taken by Ebba Raab

This comes really late but here is my report of the concert in Göteborg. We arrived to Gothemburg about 1 hour late. Never count on SJ to be on time… I decided it was no idea to go to the hotel and instead I hurried to the info to get a map over the town, It was my time in Gothemburg not spent at the station. The girl at the info heard I was from Stockholm and asked what I was doing in Gothemburg. I told her about the concert, she had no clue who Alexander was, but told me to enjoy it. I got to the place I thought was the concert hall but wondered if I was right.

How we discovered Alexander Rybak – Songs and stories

A while back we asked if you had any questions for Alexander, and we also wanted to hear your stories of How you discovered him. So here we present some of your stories and the songs connected to them.

Europe’s skies

  • Hello Alexander! Maybe you do not know anything about this little country in South America, anyway I want to thank you because while everything is a chaos here, I can dream and be happy just listening to your music. I dream with finding a place where I can feel comfortable, a place that I can call home. For that reason, “Europe’s Skies” is a very special song for me, because somehow it says what I feel. Yazly, Venezuela
  • The way I got to know your songs. Last year I heard Europe’s skies in a forum in someone’s profile and then fell in love with it…then Fairytale and the Eurovision stage it was so exciting. Now I think there isn’t any video of u on YouTube that I haven’t seen and 24/7 is your songs…for getting rid of confusion of my lessons and calming down a bit… Mahdiyeh, Iran
  • Hi Alex! When I heard your music first, I was searching on the net. It happened 2 years ago. My favorites are the Fairytale, Europe’s skies, Roll with the wind… but the best is Europe’s skies. Virág, Hungary

Report & Video: Meet & Greet with Alexander Rybak and fans in Kiev. Sept.29th 2012. Facebookies reporting

Report by Julia Bezbakh

Short report from yesterday’s meeting in Kiev:) I was celebrating my Bday with relatives when I got sms from Yana. I think it was something around 16.00, she told she reserved time for M&G at 20.00. I had to gather fans. That was a disaster, because I was far away, and my phone was dying and I knew how many complaints we’ll get from Ukrainians who don’t live in Kiev. That was tough even for Kiev citizens, but fortunately I have a great team of Ukrainian Facebookies who helped me to arrange everything. Also many thanks to Marianne Mata Hari Saietz for fast reacting and making an event post at the main wall immediately after I asked her.

We gathered around 20-25 people there. Girls from Ukrainian Team Facebookies went to that street and found the place, but that was not so easy to make them put tables together, many restaurants refused to do it, so this is why we couldn’t tell people the exact place in advance. I was happy to see many familiar faces and also some very new. All new ones came thanks to the wall posting:)

Norway Report by Emily Boycott ( United Kingdom ). July 6th – 8th 2012

Report by a Brittish Facebookie about her journey to Norway for the Tønsberg Summershow, July 7th 2012

Text and photos: Emily Boycott

Thursday 5th July

Mum and dad drove me to Birmingham late at night, I was so excited, I actually exploded (At least, that’s what dad blamed the nosebleed on!) Lillian picked me up from there, and I said goodbye to my parents before we embarked on an all night long trip to John Lennon airport where to my amusement there was actually a yellow Submarine… We had a cup of tea and a doze before meeting Anni and Dave at about 5am. Currently lacking sleep and over excited – funny combination!

I can see Norway!!!

 Friday 6th July

We got to Torp at about half Nine, I decided that Norway looks like someone put a country in a blender with all the islands and what not, but so pretty and awesome!  After a short train vs. taxi dispute, we chose the latter.

The Farm-Fairytale. A Facebookies report. July 29th 2011

A video-clip from “Skogheim flytter inn” where Alexander talks about the Facebookies and the Farm-meeting. Broadcasted on Tv2  Norway- 28.02.12

 The Farm-Fairytale

This is a report about a fairytale, that happened long ago in July 2011. No reports have been published about the Farm-meeting until now but in the TV-program “Skogheim moves in” (28.2.2012), Alexander told about his meeting with 80 Facebookies from 30 countries at a private farm after the Giske-concert. Since this piece of information could make people curious or confused, we decided to write a short report and tell some more facts about it. Continue reading The Farm-Fairytale. A Facebookies report. I stared at the comment from “Aftenshowet” under my posting on their facebook-page. I felt like if somone just opened a bottle of champagne inside my head. It was Tuesday January 10th and there had been some hints about Alexander coming to my country but all I had learned, so far,  was: Continue reading THE SMURF WAS IN MY COUNTRY. Concert at Bø Church Jan.10th 2012

Report from Bø

Written by Laila Ulvseth on Wednesday, 11 January 2012 at 21:51

Two days ago, I got a message. We who had been at Bø church for the Vinterbilder concert, and not seen Alexander, got a chance now. It was an offer too tempting to refuse! So I had a chat with Hildebjørg who offered me a bed for the night, and went.

We came to the church 30 minutes before the concert and sat in the car because it was cold. Two minutes later, a car drove up beside us, and I nudged Hildebjørg. Isn’t that….?

A warm “thank you” to

all of you

A Facebookies report from the concert in Harstad. Sept.2nd, 2010

by Sara Anja, Norway

I have already written so many bits and pieces several places about Yesterday and you have seen the vids, so you have already got most of my report. But I will try to write something, anyway. After the Tønsberg meeting, surrounded with facebookies, it felt a bit lonely to go to a concert all by myself, but I was really looking forward to it. All your good wishes were with me in my heart, and I was thinking about all my friends a lot. I didn’t know how the concert would be like, since it included an orchestra and other soloist as well. But I hoped for at least 4-5 Alex songs. I entered the concert hall, witch was filled with people of all ages. Continue reading A Facebookies report from the concert in Harstad. Sept.2nd, 2010

“Greeting Sasza in Lodz Airport¨

I did not have much time to prepare for this meeting as it was announced at 11.30 that he would arrive in Lodz at 13.20. So I had to hurry up, pack for Warsaw (as I was going to Meet & Greet), run to the shop to buy small gift for the Fiddler and then at the bus stop, which fortunatelly is close to my house. I had a bit more than an hour for all of those, but I managed 🙂 I was supported by other Polish fans and my boyfriend 🙂

Facebookies meeting the fiddler in Moscow. March 7th 2010. By Irina Kuvaldina.

Europe spies: Moscow operation

That day in Moscow was surprisingly sunny. And we know why:)) The fiddler arrives! FaceBookies (me, Yanis, Anton, Snezhanna, Margarita, Viktoria, Lena Snetkova and Lena Star) met each other at the airport. We didn’t know exactly the flight, but hoped to welcome our dear guests in the afternoon. While we were searching for some information airport staff has already understood who we’re waiting for=))) It was very kind of them to open the secret where Alex was. Firstly we didn’t believe them, but fortunately they were honest and really wanted to help us. We were so touched and thankful that we bought chocolate for that girls afterwards!
