Played with Rybak in Ås: On Sunday evening 150 culture school children from the Follo region were on stage in Ås Culture house with Alexander Rybak. Together they took the breath away from the audience during the two concerts.

Came. Performed. Conquered.
The most Belarusian Norwegian, Alexander Rybak, arrived in Minsk again. Yesterday afternoon the winner of “Eurovision- 2009” found a few hours in his busy schedule to talk with young singers and musicians. The charming artist was met by the auditorium of the university of culture not just with applause, but with a standing ovation. Rybak willingly posed in front of cameras, gave advice and answered the most tricky questions. There was no hint of a star disease – anyone could get an autograph and a picture with the idol.

FIERY. Alexander delivered fiery and well, and pulled the young string players enthusiastically with him.
Frenetic strings and wild virtuous Goblin dance.
Twice they filled up the Bjarntesaula. Alexander Rybak and 140 young strings. A Fairytale.
– It was an incredible amount of people. This is almost the test of whether we need a cultural house or not, I thought beforehand. Rybak is coming, are the people from Nittedal interested? And they were,- said Torbjørn Olsen, the leader of the workgroup “Rybak”.
Alexander performed 2 concerts at the annual event “Spanish-Norwegian Days”, which was held at Casa de Cultura, Alfaz del Pi, Spain from November 9th until November 15th, 2013. Got to join the band: Alexander Rybak called his performance at Rådhusteatret on Sunday his audition to “join the band”, in other words the marching bands from Nordby, Ski and Drøbak/Frogn. He passed it with flying colours.
Alexander Rybak bestowed glory to the marching band society in Follo.
Well done from Nordby, Ski and Drøbak/Frogn. The celebrity concert has been a tradition for a long time and the 2013 edition will go down in history as one of the very best. The members of the school marching bands from Nordby, Ski and Drøbak/Frogn can pat themselves on the back after a well-executed event at Rådhusteatret during the weekend. They entertained a sold out venue for two hours with marching band music at the highest level. The celebrity concert 2013 is the result of persistent work by the marching bands.
Alexander Rybak and Prima Music School gave the audience “value for the money”.
The seminars on Friday and Saturday were all topped off with a concert in a packed Ytteren church Sunday night . It was so fully packed that some had to stand or sit on the floor. The concert was well set up with a mix of solo performances by Rybak, performances by Prima Music School only and performances by the music school and Rybak together.

In the lead: Instructor Alexander Rybak together with course attendee Ingrid Fuchen Røyne (13) from Fagernes. The young girl from Valdres doesn’t hide the fact that it`s fun having the well-known violinist and artist as an instructor. Rybak himself thinks it`s great being an inspiration to the next generation of strings and lets himself get inspired by their commitment and willingness to learn
Great study days in Leira
Alexander Rybak is instructor and inspiration to over 40 young strings at Valdres Summer symphony.
Ingrid Fuchen Røyne thinks it`s a fairytale to have Alexander Rybak as an instructor during Valdres Summer symphony.
The 13 year old from Fagernes, who is the only person from Valdres in Rybak`s class isn`t the only one who thinks this. Together with over 40 other young strings, she pays attention and with a firm grip on violin and bow and listens for most of them to the well-known violinist and artist while he is instructing.
Skellefteå. It was just like a fairytale for the string students at Skellefteå music school. A whole weekend with the charming and skilled violinist Alexander Rybak. “He has taught us a lot”, says Linnea Lindström.
Elsa Lundell from Bergsbyn has only played for around half a year. But she has dreamt about playing the violin since she was three.
So it’s really a dream being fulfilled
COMING BACK: Elisabeth Andreassen, Didrik Solli-Tangen and Alexander Rybak are coming back to Klubben this year. This is from the show last year.

Sandefjord has no chance
Christne Koth takes care of the humour, while Rybak, Bettan and Didrik take care of the rest. Oseberg promises the best summer show ever, and the Lattergal is hiding in the wings.
– Hotel Klubben already has the summer show menu prepared. We welcome back the BAD gang, meaning Bettan (Elisabeth Andreassen), Alexander Rybak and Didrik Solli-Tangen. And last but not least, we present a newly written musical performance for children. Alexander Rybak is the main character on the stage, and he is also involved in writing the screenplay and music. We are really looking forward to this. The kids love Alexander, and we think it is important to offer quality also in a children’s show,- the hotel manager says.

By the side of the Melodifestivalen semifinal in Skellefteå a concert was held on Sunday in connection with the 50 year anniversary of the Skellefteå music school. For some time 160 students from Skellefteå, Umeå and Lycksele have been learning the repertoire at their home towns to meet on Saturday to rehearse together. Also in place on Saturday and the Sunday concert was the one who had been in the focus for the selection of songs, nobody less than Alexander Rybak. 260 students took part in the concerts, they came from the music school in Skellefteå, Umeå and Lycksele.
Those who watched Melodifestivalen know that Alexander was also there, as a guest.Earlier there had been rumours that he would take part in some kind of interval act. He sounds a bit surpised when Norran asks about this.
-The Swedes are so good at making new music. They don’t need to recycle.
On the other hand he says he would like to make the interval act at Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö.
– I would like to do a performance with students, just like we have done now in Skellefteå, he says.
Alexander Rybak says his manager is very excited about this, and is thinking about contacting SVT.
So with other words: If a former Eurovision winner will do interval act it has to be better than in a Swedish semi final.

Alexander – bachelor and fiddler – I want my own family
Alexander Rybak has an absolutely uncanny way of relating to children and capturing their attention. Now he dreams of his own family as well.
The thrill at Slattum School in Nittedal is to touch and feel. Alexander Rybak (26) is this year’s Christmas present for the violin-playing children in the 6th grade. And when the favourite appears, the cheering will not end.
The children throw themselves upon him, and with charm and musical wit Alexander takes the teacher role as a matter of course. The students spent the fall practising “Fairytale”, and Alexander gives his personal tips and advice to the children, who sit like lighted candles. Brilliant: The violinist Alexander Rybak, cellist Aage Kvalbein (sitting behind there) and pianist Gunnar Flaggstad played the most beautiful classical pearls on Sunday.
Valdres SommerSymfoni has started with almost 250 children and young people who play and practise from early morning to late at night. A large number of people also have had some great concerts experiences, like the one at Låvin in Vaset on Sunday, where the violinist Alexander Rybak, cellist Aage Kvalbein and pianist Gunnar Flagstad captivated a full house.
Private lessons: Sigurd Fosheim from Røn in Valdres has Alexander Rybak as a private teacher during the “Sommersymfoni”.
The “Sommersymfoni” has started
Children and young people from different nations are gathered. There is playing and practising in all the nooks and crannies at Valdres Folkehøyskole. The 19th “Sommersymfoni” has started.
Leira: We have taken a short trip to Valderes Folkehøskole, to check the pulse of this massive summer school that brings together nearly 250 children and young people from many different nations.
Lesson with Rybak
First we get a tip that Sigurd Fosheim from Valdres, who has played the violin for eight years, this time has got Alexander Rybak as a teacher. We knock gently on the door and are allowed to take a little snap shot, before they ask us nicely to leave. They have only half an hour, and the time is costly.
Afterwards Sigurd tells that it was fun and inspiring to have Rybak as a teacher.
