Alexander Rybak was the guest star at the grand final of the Flower Carnival of Debrecen 2018 in Hungary.
The Flower Carnival is a popular annual week long event that take place in Debrecen, Hungary. The grand final show, the “Carnival Night”, was held at Nagyerdei Stadion with 20.000 people in the audience, and 2000 dancers joined Alexander in his final song “Europe’s Skies”. Alexander and Gomel City Symphony Orchestra invited young string students for a seminar and to play with Alexander on stage at the concert.
Students under the age of 14 playing a violin or cello, could take part in the seminar. It was Gomel City Symphony Orchestra who had taken the initiative to invite Alexander, and it was a unique experience for the young strings students to practice and perform on the same stage as the famous Eurovision winner, Alexander Rybak . 35 boys and girls from the music schools of Gomel region and even some from Kiev. Alexander Rybak was a jury member in the talented children competition “New Wave Junior Artek2015” in Crimea the 11-13th if August 2015. In addition to be a jury member, he also performed Europe’s Skies in a duet with Nika Smolyanova.

Got to join the band: Alexander Rybak called his performance at Rådhusteatret on Sunday his audition to “join the band”, in other words the marching bands from Nordby, Ski and Drøbak/Frogn. He passed it with flying colours.
Alexander Rybak bestowed glory to the marching band society in Follo.
Well done from Nordby, Ski and Drøbak/Frogn. The celebrity concert has been a tradition for a long time and the 2013 edition will go down in history as one of the very best. The members of the school marching bands from Nordby, Ski and Drøbak/Frogn can pat themselves on the back after a well-executed event at Rådhusteatret during the weekend. They entertained a sold out venue for two hours with marching band music at the highest level. The celebrity concert 2013 is the result of persistent work by the marching bands.

NORD ODAL: Martin Johansen will not wash his belly for a long time. Because his new hero has written his autograph there.
– It was very nice to talk to Alexander Rybak , but I don’t remember what he said, the guy from Sarpsborg says, who was one of nearly 100 mentally challenged who flocked to the fiddle playing artist after the concert at Sand in Nord-Odal Saturday afternoon. Alexander Rybak took his time with autographs, and he was one of the main reasons for the high show factor of the 5th Morodalsfestivalen.
– For four years we have tried to get Alexander Rybak here, and for four years it has rained during our festival. Now Rybak came, and the sun came with him, a satisfied Olav Hagen said, who guided a crowd of more than 1,000 people through the weekend’s festival below Milepelen Inn.

“Top 50” is the award for artists, businessmen, actors, models, athletes and TV-hosts. “Top-50” – is a recognition of success, beauty, elegance, impeccable style, and most importantly – high-achieving, that’s how the general producer of this ceremony describes it. This year’s ceremony took place in the club «Dozari» in Minsk on April 30th. Alexander Rybak was the guest of this ceremony, who got the award among other celebrities, and performed his song “Europe’s skies” in Belarusian at the end of the evening.
