Alexander Rybak will appear on both radio NRK P1 and NRK1 TV the week before the final of Melodi Grand Prix 2018.
Stig Karlsen promises great promotion on NRK.no and in social media during the last week before the final.
Both the radio show and TV show are available from abroad.
During the week the artists will be guests in “Nitimen” , which is broadcast on NRK P1 between 09:00 and 11:00 Monday to Saturday. Who will be there when is not announced yet. Link to listen live. Link to the archive.
In addition, the live evening show “Norge Nå” (Norway now) moves into Oslo Spektrum and have MGP as the topic for the whole week. First show will be aired Monday at 20.15 and last to 20:55. Tuesday , Wednesday and Thursday the show will last for 30 mins. and starts at 20:25. There will be interesting guests and stuff related to the big final. In addition, says Karlsen, all the artists will be guests and be allowed to present themselves. There is no info which artist will be when yet, but you can watch the show live from this link or from the archive.

An explanation: The Norwegian word “Tankekjør” has no has exact English translation. They are not even sure of the definition in Norwegian. But some dictionaries suggest “Racing thoughts, racing mindset, my brain is racing, and so on. In this article we have chosen to use “racing mindset”
– I apologise for being a bit hushed. I have a typical Monday feeling. Many things that are pressing, says Alexander Rybak (31).

Per Sundes about MGP 2018, Alexander’s return and the musical family Rybak in the radio programme “Musikkfrokost” (Music breakfast) on radio NRK Klassisk.
They also played the musical piece “Spurven” (The Sparrow) by the Norwegian composer Johan Halvorsen, performed by Alexander, in the age of 12, and his mother Natasha Rybak. A reording from the CD “En Julefortelling” (A Christmas Tale).

Fan Reports from the Alexander Rybak & Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra Concerts in Ostrava and Plzen
Attending Alexander Rybak’s concerts always gives his fans the opportunity not only to enjoy his music, but to travel and to explore different places together. This was certainly the case last autumn when Alexander returned to the Czech Republic and he went on a mini tour with the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra.
