The audience at the festival was

present from the first sound.

A fairytale: Of course Alexander Rybak played “Fairytale” – and in front of 1,000 spectators early Saturday afternoon.
Almost a festival fairytale.

More than a thousand people welcomed Alexander Rybak when he entered the stage on the idyllic Tautra Island early Saturday afternoon.

It seems like the audience at MiG Tautra realize what a musical festival is really about. At other festivals in the county it’s mostly only guards present at the festival when the first artists go on stage.

 – ”Absolutely incredible. This is a very beautiful place and it pleases me that there are so many children present. Children inspire me. I feel privileged,” smiled an obviously happy Alexander Rybak.

 Festival mood

The biggest points collector in Eurovision history flirted with the audience and was all over the stage, as is typical for him. And when he finally played “Fairytale”, well supported by Superbarna, all stood up and sang along.

Festival magic on Frosta

Superbarna entered the stage with their colorful clothes. After some songs Alexander Rybak joined the team, and got the audience to sing a long. So far the weather had been good, but at the end of the concert it began to thunder, and that scared away some of the audience. Luckily the weather cleared up, and after the signing of autographs with Rybak, Anne Grete Preus and her band entered the stage.

Tautra is a beautiful and historical place, with a great audience who “are pleased even before the artist has been able to sing a note” (quote Rybak)
