The fact that the stars are besieged by fans is well-known. Sometimes fans’ love can be so obsessive that artists have to change their phone numbers, addresses, and even call the police. And fans love brought the popular singer, winner of “Eurovision 2009” Alexander Rybak to the mental hospital.

Fortunately, just for fun. Sasha just decided to explain to girls with a song and music video that shows fanaticism is not always good. A few days ago in Kiev the shooting of the video for the new Rybak’s single “Leave me Alone” («Ты достала меня”) took place. They shot at once two versions of the video – English and Russian ones. The fan-girl of the artist, who tries too zealously to prove her love to him, prompted him with an idea of the new video and the song.

In his new video work Alexander appeared for his fans in some unusual way – a man who’s too obsessive pursuit brought up the fact that he had to wear a straightjacket.

– I always treat my fans very good, I love and appreciate them, but when it goes over the borders, it is madness – complained Rybak on his fan-girl who frazzled him with her endless phone calls and letters. – So I got the idea to make a video about it. The action of the video takes place in a psychiatric clinic, where I got admitted, because of the constant attention of some girl …

How all this happened and how organically Alexander is into the role of mental patient, one can see in the near future.

An obsessive fan-girl brought the artist to a nervous breakdown.

The shooting took place in an old abandoned building, where there was no light, no water … Of course the artist did not ask for the help of his obsessive fan-girl but invited for the lead role in the video the demanded Ukrainian model Yana Obodets who found time between fashion shows in Japan, Korea and Hong Kong.
